I have the honour to inform you that a
bill, copies enclosed, intituled "An Ordinance to
apply a sum not exceeding Twenty-seven million twenty-
nine thousand two hundred and thirty-five Dollars to
the Public Service of the year 1934" was introduced
in the Legislative Council and read a first time on
the 28th September.

Copies of the draft Estimates of Revenue
and Expenditure for 1934, of an Abstract showing the
difference between the Estimates of Expenditure for
1933 and the Estimates of Expenditure for 1934, of
memoranda by the Colonial Treasurer and the Director
of Public Works, and of the speech by the Colonial
Secretary are enclosed.
3.
It is proposed to take the remaining stages
of the bill on the 12th October, and I shall address
you further thereafter.
